LWA Academy is affiliated with LWA Discernment;
Both are business arms of Drs. Lapporte, Wright & Assoc., PC
A place for (soft) accountability - stay on track to finish the training by following the "assigned" training modules
A place to review critical topics from the assigned material, facilitated by a Discernment Counseling Master Practitioner
A no-pressure place to ask questions and solidify your understanding of the protocol
A place to use case examples and role-playing as practice tools (*PSST** You get to be the client!)
A classroom replacement for self-paced learning. We will not be able to cover EVERY part of the training, so completion of the training on your own is still needed
A high-pressured environment where you will feel tested or judged
A financial drain - I offer this FREE to trainees
Regularly scheduled Office Hours/Case discussion
No obligation; Drop-in as you wish
Learn by listening to others (you don't need a case question to join!)
One low cost for ten months of unlimited meetings
Reduced fee one-on-one case consultation when Office Hours isn't enough
At first glance, the protocol seems pretty straight forward, but there are many nuances to the work that are important to master in order to be successful as a discernment counselor.
Learn the right way.
From the start.

Ginny is one of a handful of discernment counselors to train directly with Bill Doherty over the course of a year to earn the title of Discernment Counseling Master Practitioner. The title of Master Practitioner indicates specific training in providing case consultation and learning support to other discernment counselors.
