The learn along was a great companion to the new training. I liked learning with other people; their questions and their own experiences were reassuring and useful. Ginny presented the material succinctly, and her clinical experience helped identify which elements are most important. I found the section on identifying the skills and when to use then particularly enlightening. She is knowledgeable, very supportive and encouraging. I plan to continue training with her, and highly recommend that you do so as well!

Although I was excited by the prospect of learning the Discernment Counseling method, I'd been unable to 'find the time' to work through the course on my own. Ginny broke the material into manageable portions each week, making it possible for me to pace my learning and stay on track.
